In 2002, the Future Search Network conducted 8 future searches in the
Benton Harbor/St.Josephs twin cities area of Southwest Michigan for an
organization known as the Council for World Class Communities
(CWCC). The goal of the future searches was to move a project
focusing on economic, racial and other issues in the community into
action. A number of initiatives resulted from this work.
The work done through CWCC laid a basis for community dialogs following
racially motivated riots last year.
