In early November, Marv Weisbord and Sandra Janoff led trainings in South Africa for a group of local consultants in Managing a Future Search and Facilitating the Whole System in the Room,
two trainings offered world wide by the Future Search Network. As
a result of the training, workshop attendees are forming a local
chapter of the Future Search Network. John
Goss, who was instrumental in organizing the training says, "We are
beginning to meet as a formative local network...there are lots of
hopes and ideas for expanding future search usage in the region - which
will be a central idea of the local network...as a result of the
workshops we already have about 4 or 5 new members who want to get
involved in making this a reality."
